Listen "Dominance Hierarchy and Its Incompatibility with Christianity"
Episode Synopsis
Alphas, Betas, Sigmas, and whatever other titles are out there. No doubt you've heard them, and you've also probably identified with one of those labels. We men are very good at putting everyone else and ourselves in neat little boxes with shiny labels, but that system of classification can be harmful when it turns into rivalry. Rivalry and competition are inevitable when we see someone different than ourselves, because it automatically brings out the desire to prove that our version of manhood is superior to another's. But did Jesus do that? Is it possible that cooperation is better than competition and unity trumps uniformity?
