Audrey Mayer, an ecologist with the US Fish and Wildlife Service, is on the pod today! She was a professor living in the UP of Michigan with her son, Lucas, until she recently left her job and she and Lucas moved to New Hampshire. It turns out even if you’re working in the highest echelons of academia, you still might have feelings of doubt, failure, and regret from time to time.
