The parliament security breach took place on 13th December, 2023, exactly 22 years after the 2001 parliament attack. The intruders brought with them 2 smoke canisters into the Lower House and were also seen shouting slogans into the parliament premises. HW News’ Managing Editor, Mr. Sujit Nair expresses his concerns about the security breach and asks whether we’ve lost the relevance of the dire incident that took place in the temple of democracy in India.
