She loves both summer and stationery. She has been living on Jeju Island, where she can freely pursue her passions, for 13 years. Facing job rejections during her twenties, she spent her youth on Jeju Island and even met her husband here. As she traveled around the Island, she worked as a guesthouse staff and later ran a shop in a small container in front of Yongnuni Oreum. During her charming youth, living day by day, she later found a store in the small village of Sehwa-ri where she could fill the place with everything she loved, and opened “Summer Stationery”. Starting as a stationery store for adults and a shop filled with her favorite items, the store has been running for 8 years now. Currently, she also creates her own unique stationery for Summer Stationery and publishes a monthly pamphlet called “Monthly Summer Stationery,” filled with her handwritten notes and drawings. Dreaming of creating a joyful playground for adult customers who yearn for the excitement of summer vacation all year around, she continues to build this small stationery store with modesty and affection even today.
