Hong Lin, who was a chemist, one day fell in love with the scenery of islands and decided to take pictures. By chance, being assigned to a branch photo studio in Jeju, her life of roaming around was able to find a place to settle down on Jeju Island. While planning an exhibition and holding a flea market with artists at Jeoji Art Village, she met a man who draws and even got married. The couple settled in a remote village called Gosan-ri in Jeju Island and opened ‘Slow Photo Studio’. On the days when the studio is slow, she carries her camera and goes all around Jeju to take pictures. Currently, she is running two projects which are ‘ㅅ(Siot) Project’ and ‘SAI Project’.
