Dr. Masters leads a department of researchers and educators in the field of Gerontology which seeks to understand the impacts of aging,
application of principles learned, helping to identify needs of the elderly and educating the community to the issues of aging and the
services that may be needed.


In the following video Dr. Masters shares some of her own experiences and the challenges and rewards of caring for the elderly. Too often
caregivers are so busy trying to meet the needs of their loved ones they forget all about their own needs. Dr. Masters talks about that
and possible consequences of such an approach.
