Episode Synopsis
First episode covering one of the most underestimated training methods to improve performance: BREATHING. By perfecting breathing, we improve the exchange of 02 and CO2, allowing our muscles and our heart beat to recover faster and work more efficiently.
First part, introducing basic concepts on breathing while training(1RM max vs reps for quality), while ice bathing and when trying to recover in the middle of a WOD. The way we breath also affect the way we position ourselves when starting a movement or when we do many reps.
Breathing techniques have been studied for many years, many different "schools" have their own techniques, from Gracie to Win Hof, passing through Jocko Willink.
