Listen "Retired Firefighter Gerry Shannon Reflects On the 31st Anniversary of a Life Changing Act of Courage"
Episode Synopsis
I was an 18-year-old kid heading to the Bay Bridge World Series on October 17, 1989. The man who would become my cousin one day, Gerry Shannon, was a San Francisco firefighter of 19 years on that fateful day. He is a very modest man and as many first responders claim, he was just doing his job.But on that tragic day in San Francisco history, he saved a woman's life. This is part of that story. Please share the Podcast episode with everyone you know. Gerry was actually played by actor Scott Valentine in the movie that was made based on Gerry's heroism, AFTERSHOCK. Support the show
