As you study with us today, you may be asking yourself why we study kings and their deeds in the Bible. Holy Spirit has inspired all scripture and these are no different. They are to teach us lessons and help us overcome obstacles we may face in life. Also, they are to be looked at and studied through the lens of Jesus Christ and the New Covenant. As we go through the kings today, ask yourself what you can learn and take away that will help you in your walk with the Father today. Pray and ask Holy Spirit to highlight necessary things you may need to change in your own life. Today, you will see that Israel had 6 evil kings in succession in a very short time period.
