As we continue in Chapter 21 you will see the wickedness of King Ahab. He was extremely wicked and probably one of the most evil kings to reign. He was immature and with the help of his equally evil wife Jezebel, they killed a man and took his land just so the king could have a vegetable garden close to his house! God pronounced judgement on Ahab and his family line. Ahab turned in repentance and God responded in extravagant mercy even knowing how wicked Ahab was and that later, he would continue to do evil. This should be encouraging to us today! We can be assured that the heart of the Father is just looking for someone to turn in the slightest to Him and He will intervene!
