Continuing this week we look into a king who just wouldn’t repent and eventually paid the price. You’ll see as we go, the line of Ahab and Jezebel being systematically wiped out, according to the word of the Lord. The evil that came thru Ahab and Jezebel’s family line would continue to spread like a cancer and needed to be wiped out. You will see the long-suffering and goodness of God. He was, and still is, so ready for repentance and will forgive, even when He knows that in the end, they will still turn their backs and do evil. God is still the same! He longs to have a relationship with you! He looks for any sign of repentance and will immediately forgive! What an awesome God we serve! But just as we see in our study, God will not wait forever, and His grace isn’t something anyone should take for granted. This king betrayed God who had helped him win the war, and then he worshipped the gods of the losers! What an insult! God makes it clear that the only reason that Israel is not blotted out is because God said He would never do that and He keeps His word. For an added bonus Kathy has a word she got from the Lord about the meaning of “It is finished” and what it means and our warrior cry. You don’t want to miss this!
