“Harassment”, and its frequent companion “Retaliation” are words no people-manager ever wants to hear in the workplace. Most of the time when we hear the word harassment, we think about sexual harassment, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Employees can be illegally harassed for many different reasons including race, sex, religion, and national origin, along with other protected characteristics.
