It’s probably been about two years or so since I first heard about endometriosis and how I would be able to get it diagnosed. It was a long journey to get to where I am today to get answers to my why my periods were so heavy, so painful, and left my iron deficient. I finally was told post surgery, you do have endometriosis after all and hence that explains the pain, bloating, and heavy bleeds. I go through my experience in the private hospital sector, which wasn’t as pleasant as I had hoped it would be.
