Episode Synopsis
Come sit with us as we talk with all-around artist Daja Rice about her journey as an actor and child of God. An actress, teaching artist, and creative, Daja M. Rice holds a B.A. in Theatre Performance and Education from North Carolina Central University and an M.F.A. in Acting from the University of Georgia. Her recent credits include Waitress (Aurora Theatre), Petite Rouge (Synchronicity Theatre), Black Nativity Atlanta (Dominion Entertainment), Papa Didn’t Take No Mess (James Brown Family Foundation), Little Shop of Horrors (ArtFarm at Serenbe), and The Color Purple (Aurora Theatre). Beyond the stage, Daja is the co-founder of Rice Performing Arts Camp, a mobile theatre program she runs with her husband, Jonathan Rice. She also serves in a leadership role at her local church, Harvest Tabernacle Church, within the Worship and Arts Ministry.
