Decision-making can feel overwhelming, and everyone claims to have a solution.
How do we gain clarity and wisdom beyond our own understanding?
The ancient wisdom of the book of Proverbs in the Bible says this: “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” Proverbs teaches us that wisdom is a divine gift. It says, “For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.”
By seeking Him, seeking His plan, then we can receive wisdom that we need to navigate life's enormous challenges.
And it's not just about material success; wisdom is about living a life of peace and purpose. Proverbs even personifies wisdom as a woman, and says about Lady Wisdom, “Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.”
