While hell is separation from God, Christmas demonstrates His love entering our world. God doesn't send people to hell in anger; people choose separation from Him. The Christmas story shows God's heart for the broken and forgotten, as angels announced Jesus' birth to rejected shepherds rather than the powerful. We're called to love others toward Jesus, creating hope lists of people who need to experience God's love through us.
