Listen "John 13-15: Last Day Lessons"
Episode Synopsis
In this week's Sermon, we are focusing on Jesus' last lesson for his disciples (found in John 13-25). There are three lessons Jesus presented to his disciples leading up to his death. Being a leader does not mean standing on stage, holding a mic, or being in charge. It means serving and being willing to give up your time and your pride for His Glory and not our own. Instead of running to affirmations from man look at how your ministry is aligning with God's example (washing others' feet). Lesson two is to keep fear from being the driving force. The enemy uses fear as a weapon to dangle over our heads to make us stop moving forward. But (lesson 3) God calls us to stay close to Him. When fear comes in and tries to tell us we are not good enough the Lord comes in and shines a light on the truth. The more you focus on Him the less fear can control our life because we have truth living within our life.
