Jesus is greater than Jacob. Jacob is remembered in the hall of faith because he passed on his faith through a blessing to the next generation. God chose to use him despite his brokenness and sin. He became one of the pillars of the faith because God redeemed him to use for his purpose. In the same way, we can be reminded of God’s faithfulness to work in our lives.
