In a follow up to last week's episode, I wanted to share some of the lessons the Lord taught me about Himself and His Word. Walking through suffering and affliction isn't easy and the Lord is so gracious and kind in His comfort. However, He also uses these things to deepen our union with Him. The Lord has used the things I've walked through to not only help me learn about His grace and mercy, but to expose areas of sin in me: where I have believed wrong thing about Him, fallen into self-centered wallowing in the midst of difficulty, and fought to believe Him and not the lies of the enemy.
