Host Rick Maddison and Scott Lanigan interview Gerard “G” Joyal who has first-hand knowledge of homelessness. He himself lived on the streets, while his brother currently lives in a supportive housing facility. With 15 years working in mental health, substance use centres, and a resident of Kelowna for 30 years, this proud father of five lends his experienced voice to the Journey Home initiative. (Would like to assert, Gerard is not a representative of Kelowna’s Homeless population)
