Today in Orthodoxy is Lazarus Saturday and it along with Palm Sunday form a bridge between Lent and Holy Week. Today is a turning point from Christ's ministry into His Passion, crucifixion and Resurrection. Father Gregory explains in detail the Gospel reading for today taken from John 11:1-45. Jesus reveals Himself in a very public display which ultimately leads to His death. The Gospel tells us many believed in Him after seeing Lazarus raised from the dead and some went to tell the Pharisee's. The question is posed, are we among the ones who will stand with Christ or with the world against Christ?
