Listen "Life Giving Rhythm"
Episode Synopsis
As we approach the church New Year on September 1st, we begin a journey of reflection on the Rhythms of worship, the upcoming feast day of the birth of the Theotokos and its significance. We’ll explore how ancient Israel’s desire for a human king parallels our modern quest for worldly success and how Fr. Thomas Hopko’s teachings challenge us to live authentically Christian lives. We’ll also discuss the importance of regular church attendance and integrating faith into our daily routines. Inspired by the Panagia, we’ll see how making church a priority can deepen our connection with God and our community. Additionally, we’ll reflect on the GoArch Sermon Series from Sunday’s Gospel reading about Jesus walking on water. Join us as we embark on this new ecclesiastical year, committing to a life of devotion, service, and spiritual growth.
