Our most important history is our own. The early 20th century played host to the death of empires, the rise of dictators and our acceleration towards the modern world we know today. However, what is often forgotten is the human stories. What it must have been like to go through these changes. These four connected stories of Jack, DeGroot, Tatsuo and Rosie will enlighten and surprise you. Shining a light on Australia’s changing attitudes towards national identity, politics, racism, gender roles and alliances. We really hope you like this project.
