Jonathon speaks with Spyros Makridakis on the podcast. Spyros is a Professor at the University of Nicosia in Cyprus, where he is also the director of its Institute for the Future. Spyros has written dozens of books and hundreds of articles and as of February, he has been cited in Google Scholar over 26,000 times. In part one, Spyros explains how an Olympian become a pioneer in the world of forecasting and explains why his book, Forecasting Methods for Management, has been translated into twelve languages and sold more than 100,000 copies.
