And I was with you in weakness and in fear and much trembling, and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God”1 Corinthians Chapter 2: 2-5Wise words from gifted speakers do not have the power to open the eyes of the spiritually blind.We must preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which is Christ crucified for your sins, and resurrected triumphantly for new life.The Cross is foolishness to those who think they are in no need of a savior, but for those of us who recognize our need, it is the Power of God unto Salvation.We believe hearts will be transformed this Sunday as we preach about the greatest gift mankind could ever receive- Christ Crucified.
