Listen "Joel - Part 4: Get Back What Was Lost"
Episode Synopsis
This summer, God is calling us to repentance—an intentional turning back to Him.In our lead-in messages from Joshua 24, we were reminded that drifting away from God often happens quietly. It’s not always dramatic. Sometimes it's through the slow pull of distraction, the weight of unresolved shame, or the pursuit of our own ambitions. But no matter how far we’ve wandered, God's faithfulness has not changed. This new series takes us into the book of Joel—a prophetic wake-up call spoken into a moment of crisis. The people of Joel’s time were facing devastation: crops lost, joy gone, and a deep spiritual emptiness they couldn’t ignore. But in the middle of all that loss, God speaks—not with condemnation, but with compassion: “Even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart.” (Joel 2:12)Through this series, we’ll be invited to do just that. To stop and examine the condition of our lives. To recognize where we’ve drifted or grown numb. To hear God’s voice calling us—not to guilt or fear, but to restoration, renewal, and life.Whether you’re returning to faith or turning toward God for the first time, the invitation is the same:There’s still time. Come back. He’s waiting.Enjoyed this episode? Subscribe to the podcast and leave a review to let us know what you think!
