(Malachi 2:17)The Israelites longed for justice.  (Psalm 58, Isaiah 1:23, 5:23, 10:1-2, Malachi 2:17)God will come to bring justice, but He will start with His own people.  (Malachi 3:1-5, Luke 3:1-20)What kind of deep cleaning do we need? (Galatians 5:19-21, 2 Peter 3:11, Revelation 2:4-5,14-15,20, 3:1-2,15-17)Next steps...Read and reflect on Jesus’ words: “And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own? How can you think of saying, ‘Friend, let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,’ when you can’t see past the log in your own eye? Hypocrite! First get rid of the log in your own eye; then you will see well enough to deal with the speck in your friend’s eye.’” (Luke 6:41–42, NLT)Take some time to reflect on your life.  Invite God to show you what He would like you to change.Thank God that when Jesus returns, all things will be made new, and righteousness and justice will be the new normal in our lives and in the world.
