The end is near! Week 18 of the NFL season closes today. And their are still some teams jostling for playoff positions. In this episode Hidden Gems Football focuses on the key NFC match-ups.First game up is the Carolina Panthers heading to Atlanta to face the Falcons.For the most part, Panther fans have to feel good about their teams development as of late, even if it hasn't translated to many wins. For Atlanta, this game is crucial, They must win, and then hope for a Tampa Bay loss to make the playoffs. Speaking of Tampa Bay, the Buccaneers are hosting the New Orleans Saints in their season finale. For the Bucs it's simple, win and they are in the playoffs. The Saints are wrapping up a tough season and will be playing without any of their starters at the skilled positions, as ALL of them are injured.But the NFL truly save the best for last. The 14-2 Minnesota Vikings are heading to Detroit to face the 14-2 Lions. The winner will not only be the champion of the NFC North, but also will enter the playoffs as the #1 seed and receive a first round bye. The team on the losing side will be regulated to the #5 seed and have to play on the road on wild card weekend.
