Listen "At the Potter's House"
Episode Synopsis
Jeremiah 18:1–23 Lee Arnold – September 14, 2025Today we looked at Jeremiah 18, where God takes the prophet to a potter’s house. There Jeremiah saw three things: the Potter (God), the wheel (the circumstances of life), and the clay (us). Here’s what we learned:God is the Potter. He knows what He’s doing and has a plan for your life.We are the clay. By ourselves we’re ordinary, but in His hands we can be made into something beautiful and useful. The wheel is life. Sometimes it feels like we’re just going in circles, but God is using every turn to shape us.When we’re broken, He can reshape us. God never throws away cracked vessels—He remakes them. The challenge is this: clay must be soft to be shaped. If we’re stubborn and resist God, we miss His best. But if we yield, He will form us into a vessel that brings Him glory. The good news is this: the Potter’s hands are scarred. Jesus paid the price for our brokenness. By His blood, even what seems ruined can be restored.Takeaway: You are not too far gone. Trust the Potter. Yield to His hands. Let Him reshape your life for His purpose.
