Application Questions:1. Are there any broken images of God that you carry with you? Does what you know of Jesus help heal those images?2. Have you cultivated your relationship with Jesus as you would any other relationship? 3. Consider God’s Mercy. “God, have mercy on me, a sinner.” Asking for mercy says something like this - I have totally wronged you. I have done everything in my power to destroy you and all you stand for. I have rejected you, mocked you, scorned you, ignored you. And now that I face the consequences of my actions, I’m asking you to forget all of that, and simply be good to me. This is our God - Jesus, who gave his life for us, that we might live. This is our God - our Creator, yes; our Judge, yes; but most crucially, our Lover, our Savior, our Redeemer. 4. Are there areas in your journey that need healing? Are there steps through Heritage or in your community that you should consider to take to begin the healing journey?
