Main Idea :: Remember what Jesus has done for all of us and do not be afraid.This time of year we make new resolutions, new plans for all the things we want to accomplish, but sometimes those plans don't go as we expect.While making plans is a good thing to do, trust Jesus to lead us as we make those plans, to lead us through obstacles and through tough times, and to lead us down the path He has chosen, even if it does not align with ours.Jesus will meet us on any given day, when we are prepared, when we are not, when we are exhausted, even when we feel our hearts and bodies can give no more, He meets us no matter where we are and leads us, if we are willing to follow.Application Questions :: 1. Look back over 2016, how had your plans made in December 2015 work out for you? Discuss with the groups plans that did work out and plans that did not.2. What unexpected, yet good things, happened in 2016?3. Do you feel that you allowed Jesus to lead you through 2016?4. Could you have trusted Him more?5.
