So often we try to be all the things for everyone. Mom’s (and Dad’s) needs get pushed further and further down the list. It is natural to put your kids before yourself. But it seems jobs, housework, etc also get put before yourself then there’s your relationship with your spouse. Is that even on the list? This episode discuses a trip to a remote cabin. Without fail, it had some interesting moments including an infamous wrong turn. This is your sign; take the trip, enjoy your spouse and life. It doesn’t have to be anything extravagant. Just a simple getaway without children in a remote cabin was perfect for us.
