This battle isn’t just with our own flesh, but it is also with Satan and his demons. I Peter 5:8 says, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”We have to understand that Satan desires to destroy us. His ultimate goal is to rob God of the glory He deserves. Satan knows that if he is successful in destroying the lives of Christians, he will keep God from getting glory. The destruction left behind by a Christian who Satan has defeated, even temporarily, can have lasting consequences that affect the lives of their families, friends, and churches.So we must "armour up!"
