Today I am interviewing John Buglino who is the Director of Marketing for Optessa.
It was great to hear how John leads with empathy in all that he does, and how leading in this way has such an impact on your team and ultimately creates a better environment for building relationships which leads to better productivity and creativity. John also shares that business is only the third priority at best for a employee, so the answer for an employee request is “yes” because you will get the best work from supporting the person not assuming priority. And finally empathy isn’t being a doormat. It’s having open conversations about boundaries.
