Diabetes-related complications include retinopathy, cataract, glaucoma, gum infections, neuropathy, kidney disease, and cardiovascular risks, highlighting the need for preventive eye checkups, foot care, early recognition of symptoms, and lifestyle modifications such as regular exercise, avoiding smoking/alcohol, and a healthy diet.
