Episode Synopsis
This weeks episode features an interview with Riki Druin-Meshchaninov. Riki is on a mission to bring body consciousness back to herself and others. As a lifelong stutterer and scoliosis survivor, Riki felt disconnected and alienated from her body. Through Yoga, Dance, and other embodied practices, she discovered ways to radically reclaim her body and to honor its unique ways of feeling and moving. Riki received her 200-hour Yoga Alliance teaching certification through Abhaya Yoga, her certification in trauma-informed yoga from Exhale to Inhale, and is trained in the JourneyDance method. She shares her love of Body and its wisdom with her students, facilitating unique experiences to suit their needs, body dynamics, and goals.
