In a time where sin is celebrated and that which is evil is called good and that which is good is called evil, God’s voice speaks and is more relevant than ever. Hosea speaks not only to Israel and Judah, but to us today as well. Pride is not a celebration! Man’s pride has been around since the beginning of the fall of mankind. Hosea addresses what gets them into their prideful arrogance and today we break down the chapter to hear from God. The Lord God wants us to be surrendered and humble. He wants us to be courageously obedient to His ways and His word. For our God is a consuming fire and desires nothing before Him or over Him.
