John 20:15-1615 Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you seeking?” Supposing him to be the gardener, she said to him, “Sir, if you have carried him away, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away.” 16 Jesus said to her, “Mary.” She turned and said to him in Aramaic, “Rabboni!” (which means Teacher).Mary goes back to the tomb after they discovered that Jesus was not in the tomb, and she and the other women had told the disciples. Mary goes back to the tomb to weep. She is broken. She was broken on Friday, when Jesus died. Now she is weeping. And Jesus meets her in the weeping and brokenness. He lets her go into that brokenness. Out of that brokenness, when Jesus reveals himself, she is changed and overwhelmed by Jesus.
