With states around the country announcing school closures for the remainder of the year, distance learning is our new normal. We invited our long-time friend, Tanya Acosta, an elementary school educator with 16 years of experience, to share distance learning tips for success. Tanya covers setting schedules, creating a designated school space, adjusting routines based on your child's needs, and lots more to keep kiddos on track while remaining flexible. Tanya has worked in the education field in different variations for about 16 years. She is certified in elementary education K-6, Exception Education (special education) K-12 and have a reading endorsement for grades K-12. She has worked in the elementary capacity for most of her career as a classroom teacher and ESE teacher. She spent four years as a reading MTSS coach working with teachers and training them on reading instruction  and how to implement interventions for their students. Listener Survey!
