We are all a product of our environment of what we were taught, of our experiences. It is very interesting how you can be around someone who hasn't had a good experience in a certain area how they can suck your joy out. To combat this is simply by being an example and help them find the joy that you have found in certain situations,,  I find this to be particularly true with the holidays people that don't enjoy the holidays may not have had joyful experiences around the season rather it be ourselves or someone else, but we can teach them by being an example without losing our joy.
