Welcome to the Health and Wellness Trailblazers Podcast! In this episode, we dive into positive emotional well-being.
Debra is a Registered Professional Counsellor in good standing with the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association and has earned a Master Practitioner in Clinical Counselling designation as well as a being a Qualified Supervisor to many. She is an EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) practitioner and trainer.
She is the founder of Healthstream Counselling & Wellness with over 30 years of experience in the human services field and is focused on helping individuals overcome adversity through strength-based approaches that empower them to make positive life changes that allow them to keep moving forward. She has developed a unique and effective ‘toolbox’ of resources to help clients, individually or in a group setting.
She currently serves on the Canadian Professional Counsellors Association - Alberta Regional Management Committee and has previously served on the Board for Momentum Walk-In Counselling. Debra’s work has included Sign Language Interpreter, Special Education Assistant, Job Coach, Mentor, Advocate, Trainer, and Facilitator. However, when asked what she loves doing best, without skipping a beat she will say “counselling”. Debra enjoys variety and brings her whole heart to each and every client and project.
