Listen "Season 12 - Episode 41: Psychosomatics of Dermatitis | EVETTE ROSE"
Episode Synopsis
Send us a textDermatitis is a skin condition that can be caused by various physical and psychological factors. Studies have suggested that stress and other psychological triggers can worsen the symptoms of dermatitis, as they can lead to an excessive release of cortisol, which in turn, causes inflammation. Additionally, negative emotions such as fear, guilt, or shame can cause increased levels of adrenaline which can further aggravate the condition. Positive thinking patterns and emotional regulation techniques such as mindfulness may help reduce symptoms in some cases. Furthermore, understanding and working on your individual triggers related to dermatitis may also help to reduce the chance of flare-ups. It is important to note that while emotional health plays an important role in managing dermatitis, it should not be seen as the cause of the condition itself.Support the show
