Episode Synopsis
Using consistent creative space to create a constant in chaotic seasons—this week I’m chatting with poet, illustrator, and designer, Barnabas Smith. We chat about the role of limitation within creation, being used for talent and not for message in religious community, the grief of releasing past works, and making for different reasons after and during religious deconstruction. Get your ears in it. This is the first episode in the Artist Series! Barnabas Smith is a poet, illustrator, and designer born and raised in Southern California. He has released four collections of poetry. His most recent collection, Serenade the Fire, documents the early days of the pandemic. He currently resides in Colorado with his two sons.
