Andrea H. Evans, Esq. and Ashley Deadwyler-Jones presents HBCU Excellence: Dr. Rob Gore  
This series spotlights HBCU graduates who tell their inspiring stories. Let's take a walk in Dr. Rob Gore's shoes!  
Dr. Rob Gore is an Emergency Physician and the Founder of the Kings Against Violence Initiative (KAVI). He is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Kings County Hospital Center. He was an inaugural TED Resident in 2016, and in 2018 named a CNN Hero.  His story is inspiring! Learn more about how the Morehouse expectation of excellence motivated him to excel as a medical doctor as well as a leader in the community.  KAVI is participating in #GIVINGTUESDAYNOW. They will raise $25,000 to help retain KAVI staff, support our students with increased access to mental health services, and expand our school interventions offerings as we reimagine what school and the future of education looks like.
