In this episode of 'Have Your Say' our host first chats to people on the streets of Cork City about local democracy. She then meets with the Co-ordinator Alannah O'Callaghan and Marta Neto Support Worker from Cork City Public Participation Network (PPN) to find out all about Cork City PPN - from why the PPNs were formed to how they work. We learn about the structure of the PPNs and what terms such as 'linkage groups', 'reps' 'plenaries' and 'secretariats' mean. We learn how community organisations can become a member of the PPN and the benefits of getting involved and having your say.
