Harvey Brownstone conducts an in-depth Interview with Judy Norton, Renowned Actress, Co-Star “The Waltons”About Harvey's guest:Today’s guest, Judy Norton, is one of the most popular and versatile entertainers of our generation. She’s an actress, singer, writer, director and producer who’s been immortalized for her portrayal of “Mary Ellen Walton” for 9 seasons on the classic, multi-award-winning TV series, “The Waltons”, as well as in the TV movies “The Homecoming: A Christmas Story”, “A Decade of The Waltons”, “A Wedding on Walton’s Mountain”, “Mother’s Day on Walton’s Mountain”, “A Day for Thanks on Walton’s Mountain”, “A Walton Thanksgiving Reunion”, “A Walton Wedding” and “A Walton Easter”. But beyond that iconic franchise, our guest has had a long and diversified career. On the big screen, she’s appeared in many movies including “Hansel & Gretel: Warriors of Witchcraft”, “Blood is Thicker”, “Broken: A Musical”, “Out of the Fight”, “Motorvation”, and the critically acclaimed movies, “Finding Harmony”, “Another Day in Paradise” and “Nowhere to Hide”, which she also wrote. She’s guest-starred in numerous TV shows like “Felony Squad”, “Millenium”, “Stargate SG-1”, “Cold Squad”, “Higher Ground”, “Ed”, “Beggars and Choosers”, “Bluff”, and many more. She’s also appeared in some great TV movies including “Valentine”, “The Inspectors” and “Off Season”. Our guest also has a distinguished career in theatre, having starred in dozens of critically acclaimed productions including “HELLO DOLLY”, “BLOOD BROTHERS”, “LOVE LETTERS”, “THE SOUND OF MUSIC”, “ANNIE GET YOUR GUN”, and “MOVE OVER MRS. MARKHAM”, as well as writing and directing many shows as artistic director for numerous prestigious theatre companies in North America. In 2009, she directed the highly successful Los Angeles revival of “CABARET”, which was included on Broadway World’s list of favorite shows of the year.
