But research suggests weight-centric efforts to lose weight - that is, programs where the focus is intentional weight loss - don't actually make us healthier.  The evidence actually shows that these efforts are more likely to result in weight gain over time. So is there such a thing as a "healthy" weight?  It depends on how you define it.
