Listen "My Changed Thoughts on Valentine's Day"
Episode Synopsis
Send us a textIn this episode, I share how my thoughts on Valentine's Day have changed over the last twelve years of marriage. This holiday tends to bring up a lot of pressure for people, whether single, dating or married. Married people, especially men, can feel a lot of pressure to get this holiday "right." The first way my thinking has changed is that I have realized that I can make plans for Valentine's Day. I don't have to put pressure on my husband to do it all, and make my day perfect! I am more of a planner, so it makes sense that I may do more of it. The second change in my thinking is realizing that having a good time should be a joint venture -- not the job of one person. Finally, for me, I believe that "less is more" when it comes to Valentine's Day gifts.
