HEAR YE, HEAR YE! The sports that we only care about every 4 years has commenced. The Olympics for those of you that are unfamiliar. USA leads all nations in the medal count and are just shy of leading in the gold medal count as well. USA! USA!
On to more important things...the Birds on the bat. Harrison "Boy Band Hot" Bader is EN FUEGO. Batting .293 after yesterday...Mr. Bader is on a tear. You know what's not hot? The Cardinals bullpen. Gant looked more lost than an Amish person in downtown Manhattan. Our rotation can only hold on for so long. Mr. Bowtie needs to make some moves before the Friday trade deadline. What else is it going to take for Mo not to give up assets and make a splash?! That man needs to be on the hot seat. ALSO...fingers crossed that Nolan Arenado is healthy after leaving the game yesterday after a HBP. Our thoughts and prayers are being sent to you, Nolan...may your arm be healthy and blessed. Speaking of trades/acquisitions...bye-bye Schwartzy! Sad to see the legendary Blue go, but best of luck in Seattle and you'll always have a special place in STL's heart. Now on to the important stuff that the Blues & Army can do. We just signed Pavel Buchnevich to a 4yr 23.5M deal - what a sign! Is Army going to make any more splashes? What's going on with Tarasenko? It's going to be an exciting couple of weeks! I think Army is going to make a major move...can you say, CANNONBALL?! (30:22-43:29)
