The World Health Organization reported a 300% increase in measles cases globally in the first quarter of 2019, compared with the same time last year. Dr. Allon E. Moses, provides the most important information to protect yourself and your family from this preventable disease. Dr. Moses is the head of Hadassah Medical Organization's Center for Infectious Diseases, in Jerusalem.   According to the CDC (Center for Disease Control), in the decade before 1963, the year the measles vaccine became available, most American children contracted measles before they turned 15. As a result, health professionals studying this infectious disease, have not seen a significant record of measles in quite some time, until now. In 2019, health officials are battling the worst year for the disease in 25 years. Reports show unvaccinated Americans have brought the disease back from abroad
